Our Mondo’s coffee hotel is located right in the city center – on the Porta Nigra, the landmark of the city of Trier.

It is the ideal starting point to explore the sights of the oldest city in Germany or to use the preferred shopping center. Also for families with small children, hikers and bike tourists, we are the ideal accommodation option.

Our traditional house was built in 1898 and was modernized and rebuilt in 1998. With its beautiful neo-gothic façade with many arcades, a corner turret and the great figure of Saint Christophe, the hotel itself has a long history. The holy Christophel with its walking stick and the Jesus child on the shoulder is considered the patron saint of all travelers.

Our hotel combines tradition and modernity, which is reflected in our hotel rooms as well as in our coffee bar. From many of our rooms you have an almost unique view of the Porta Nigra, the imposing former Roman city gate. Other rooms have the Trier Cathedral, the oldest bishop’s church north of the Alps.
